The Alzheimer’s Association, New Mexico Chapter is a nonprofit that provides services and support to the 41,000 New Mexicans with Alzheimer’s disease and their 108,000 unpaid family caregivers. Our Chapter is a community-based, volunteer-driven 501(c) (3) nonprofit that maximizes collaboration with other public and private agencies; and relies primarily upon funding from private individuals, foundations and corporations to meet the needs created by the growing Alzheimer’s epidemic. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer’s disease. Our mission is to eliminate the disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
